Thankfulness

I am thankful to the Lord for hearing and answering prayers. I recently posted on this blog and in several prayer request about the need for rain that we had in our area of Kentucky. I know that a lot of people prayed concerning our dry , almost drought conditions. God heard those prayers . He answered them on Thursday as we had a good gentle rain all day and into the next morning. The Lord knew we needed this gentle rain so the moisture deprived ground to be able to absorb it and that is what He supplied. He knew that if He had sent a hard downpour the rain water would have just run off into the ditches. But God is awesome as He knows exactly what we need , when we need it and how we need it in order to benefit the best.
