Trust In God

I went to sleep last night with such peace and I awoke with even more peace from God then when I went to sleep. The Lord saw fit to bless me in the early hours of the morning with an awesome dream that was truly wonderful to me. It was beautiful and I thank God for this, His sweet peace. Our God is awesome.

God knows all our needs. But how many truly trust God to supply those very needs that He knows we have ? His Word tells us that we should place our entire trust and will in Him and in Him alone. How many people truly trust God in this capacity ? Have you ever stopped to think about how many people truly trust God in the capacity they should ?

Proverbs 3:5-7
5) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7) Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Job showed true trust in God. For he knew that God knows all. He trusted, fully trusted, in God.

Job 13:15-16
15) Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
16) He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

Psalms 37:3-6
3) Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4) Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5) Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6) And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

David trusted in the Lord in this way. He knew that by trusting in God, God would deliver him and bless him. David slew Goliath because he trusted God. He trusted, fully trusted, in God.

Psalms 143:7-12
7) Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8) Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9) Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10) Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11) Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12) And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

Jesus, Himself, gave His life for us. The trust we should have in and of Him should be our entire trust. For He gave His life for our sin sacrifice. He paid the ultimate price with His Blood at Calvary, yet so many people , to this very day, do not trust in God as they should and He was willing to, and did, give His life for our sin sacrifice. Now why do people not trust fully in God? After all He gave His life for each one of us.No greater Love is there in this world than the Love of God. Why don't people trust God completely as they should ? The Lord will bless those who trust completely in Him. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.

The verses, from the Bible, I posted are just some of the verses that teach us of how we are to trust in God/Jesus. The pages of the Bible are filled with people who truly trusted in God and also those who did not trust in God. The Bible teaches us of the trust that we should have in our God, complete trust.

People place their trust in other people daily, their complete trust. Yet they are unwilling to place that same complete trust in God. Something is wrong when a person can place complete trust in a person, knowing that the possibility is there , that the other person could break that trust. Yet they do not place their trust in God when God/Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

I choose to trust God completely. I encourage each one to place their complete trust in God and in God alone. God will never lead one wrong but man , the devil and the devils way of sin will lead one to Hell. The Lord is always working in His children to refine them into whom He wants us to be. Tried in the fire and coming forth as silver refined. Trust in God to refine you into that silver, that whom He wants you to be.

Changes

Changes are something we all experience in life. Whether we welcome these changes or not, they will arrive in our life. The thing is, to try to be prepared for when these changes do come. Of course we never truly know when a change is going to happen but we can be prepared for it, if we have God in our life. One won't be completely blindsided by changes if they are prepared.

I have been faced with many changes in my life. I have not always been totally prepared for them but I have at least been expecting most of them when they happened as God saw fit to make me aware of the circumstances that foretold of the change that was to come. If we are watchful, as God tells us to be ever watchful, then we will see the signs that point to the change that is coming. This does not just apply to when the Lord returns to this earth that He tells us to be watchful for He tells us to be ever watchful.

2 Timothy 4:5 5)But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

1 Peter 5:8
8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Change is not always good and it does not always come from God. We, as mankind, are given a choice in things. Sometimes we choose to change in a way that God does not want us to change in. Sometimes others change in a way that God does not ordain or that God does not agree with. No matter what the change is or when it happens, if one is watching they will be aware of the signs that show a change is coming. If these signs are heeded, one can be prepared for the change that is coming.

Matthew 24 tells us of how we are to know of when the time for the Lord's return is drawing nigh, by watching the signs that the Lord told us would be before His return. In the same way that the Lord told of the signs that would precede His return, He tells us of the changes that are coming in our life if we but heed the signs He is showing us. It is that, too often, we are blinded to the signs that are being given, merely because we do not want to see the truth. Some think that if they do not acknowledge that something is wrong, that something is happening, that the change will never arrive. Sort of if I don't see the signs then it isn't going to happen or ignore it because I do not want to see it and it will go away. Sadly when the change finally arrives it will devastate the one who has chosen to ignore the signs. But one can be prepared if they heed the signs that God has given them.
