 It has been quite some time since my last post. I make no excuses as I have just not taken the time to post. I felt a strong call to make a post this evening after I got off work.

Christmas time is upon us. Not every one enjoys the Christmas or Holiday seasons due to loved ones who have passed on, are missing, or who choose not to be a part of one's life anymore. The Holiday Season is a sad time for many because of the loved ones they miss.

 A lot of people do not celebrate Christmas for reasons of their own choosing, be it religious convictions, depression, sadness, melancholy, can not afford to, and many other reasons. We should not be upset with those who choose not to celebrate Christmas as they should not be upset with those of us who choose to celebrate Christmas.

Christmas has become commercialized. I think we all can see this. It is not about who can give or buy the most expensive gifts.It is not about gift giving, It is not about parties. It is not about who can decorate their homes with lights and baubles. Christmas is about us celebrating our Lord Jesus Christ's birth and remembering it. It is about knowing the reason He was born was so that we may have life  through Him. That He came to fulfill the purpose He was chosen to fulfill. Without Jesus' birth and death none of us would be able to be forgiven of our sins, as He was and is the ultimate sacrifice. He was born to die. He died so that we may live.

Death is one thing we all are certain to face one day. Through Jesus, and our repenting humbly of our sins and His forgiving us of our sins, we can have eternal life. Our soul will live on throughout eternity either with Jesus, if we repent and are baptized, or in the lake of fire if we so choose not to seek the Lord's forgiveness. Everyone has a choice.

I think about all my loved ones so many times and pray for them. I pray they come to know the Lord as their personal Savior. I pray for their healing and safety. I pray they live a life pleasing and acceptable to the Lord.

God's written Word, The Holy Bible , tells us to pray one for another. Their is a reason for that. There is power in prayer.

James 5:16 King James Version

16)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1 Timothy 2;1-2 King James Version

1) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2) For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

This Holiday Season pray for your loved ones, your friends, and everyone. We all need prayer. while your standing in line at Walmart, instead of looking around at people and  thinking thoughts in your head about them, how they are dressed or look, pray for them. Pray while standing in line at the post office or anywhere you may be pray. God hears our prayers and yes He does answer them. It may not be the answer you want but God knows what is best for all. He knows exactly what lies down the road ahead of each of us. He answers our prayers in the way He knows it will best help us, our loved ones, all, and serve Him.

May each of you have a Blessed Christmas. May each of you get to spend it with family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones. May God bless and keep each of you. I love you all. Blessed Christmas to all.

Just because you attend church services does not mean you are a Christian. I have seen so many people attend church services and pretend to be a Christian then turn around and as soon as they are out the church doors they are right back out in their sin. I have seen people who claim to be doing the Lord's service, but who take the glory for them self and do not give God the glory. I have seen so many people who are pretend Christians that it does hurt those who are not Christians and influences them not to become Christians. Do you not realize that you will be held accountable for every person that you have caused to turn away from the Lord? This goes for pastors, teachers of the Bible, and everyone. Yes, it does say this in the Bible! Also remember that just because you think you are serving the Lord but in truth are serving self and taking the glory, that should be the Lord's and applying it to yourself, you are at fault. Yes it says this in the Bible. Now some preachers, priest, pastors, teachers of the Bible, and others do not and will not tell you so. They will be held accountable for not telling you. Yes, it is in the Bible.

Thankfully if we are humble and repent the Lord forgives, just do not return to your sin.

Matthew 7:21-23(KJV)
21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 12:30-37 (KJV)
30) He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32) And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
33) Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

2 Corinthians 11:12-15(KJV)
12) But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

1 John 4:1-6(KJV)
1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5) They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6) We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

2 John 9-11 (KJV)
9) Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11) For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Romans 1:20-32 (KJV)
20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Luke 17:1-4 (KJV)
1)Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2) It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3) Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4) And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Matthew 18:6-7 (KJV)
6) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7) Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Ezekiel 33:1-9(KJV)
1) Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2) Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3) If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
4) Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
5) He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6) But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7) So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
8) When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9) Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 3:16-21(KJV)
16) And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
17) Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18) When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19) Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20) Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21) Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Who is your God and Lord? Is it a picture hanging on a wall? Is it an image/an idol made by man? Is it money that you worship or is it some other thing that you have placed your faith in? My God and Lord is the One True God. It is He that i worship and place my faith in. There is no other but He. God will always be and has always been. These scriptures were laid on my heart this morning by the Lord God for me to share.

Jeremiah 10:10-15 (KJV)
10) But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
11) Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12) He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
13) When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
14) Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
15) They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
The Lord forgives our sins and their is but One Mediator, not many as some claim, only One, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5-6(KJV)
5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and call upon the name of the Lord and you shall be saved is what the Holy Bible, God's written Word says.

Romans 10:8-13 (KJV)
8) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Spring 2015

Spring is here. It has been quite sometime since I last posted. I apologize for this.  I can't make excuses for not posting as I merely did not post. I did not take the time to. That is the truth of the matter.

There has been a lot that has happened since my last post. My Mom had her hip replaced in 2012. Shes was 81 at the time. She did great with it. Her doctors said that she did better than most of the younger people they had done hip or knee replacements on. This is contributed to her life of hard work as well the biggest part to her living her life for the Lord God. A lot of prayers went up for her as well and we know that Gd hears and answers our prayers.

Mom is now 84 and still going strong. She has some stiffness and age related things going on, but for the most part she is spry. I thank God for this and that she faces any challenge she is dealt with head on, and goes to the Lord in prayers concerning them. She amazes me everyday and I love her so much. I thank God fro her and my Dad.

It is a beautiful day here in Kentucky. Autumn has kicked in. The air has a hint of crispness that can only be felt in Autumn. There is a difference in the crispness of the air at different seasons of the year. If you have not noticed this take the time, during each season, to note the difference in the type of feeling that the crispness of the air holds. It feels different. You can sense it in a physical way, in a mental way, in an emotional way, and in a spiritual way.You will find it if you truly seek it.

In the Autumn things look differently as well. You can see the change outwardly, in the leaves colors changing, just as you can feel it inwardly in your self, in the way air quality changes and in the feelings it evokes. You can see it in the fruit and produce that is borne in the Autumn season, the crisp apples, the pumpkins, the persimmons, the turnips, and so on. They have arrived at the point of their ripeness. They are ready to be harvested. The taste of a crisp apple, as it is freshly picked from the tree, is an experience that everyone should be able to enjoy.

Growing up we had an orchard on on family owned and operated farm. I always looked forward to harvesting the apples because I knew all the promise that was held within that apple. It could become so many things. It could be so good, if it was in the hands of the right person. Or it could be quite unpleasant, if in the hands of the wrong person.

This is also so in our own daily lives. We can be of so much good or we can be quite unpleasant. It depends on whom we serve in this world. If we are the Lord's we will seek to do good and to help others enjoy the goodness of the Lord. If we are the devils then we will try to sway others to the devils ways. It is that simple. Where your heart lies so to does your allegiance.

You can compare the Autumn to people. Just as you can see the outward change in the Autumn season, so too you can see the change in a person when they become the Lord's child. You can see it in their outward countenance. You can see it within their inner being as well. They change. Just as the leaves change their hues of color, a person who has accepted the Lord into their lives also undergoes a transformation. With God/Jesus/Father Creator, the person has become new. The old has passed away. The old self is shed just as the leaves are shed from the trees in the Autumn, if one has truly been forgiven by the Lord.

You experience a soul deep joy like none you have ever felt before. Once you have tasted of it, truly tasted of it, you will want none else. None else can compare to it as it reaches places one never has been touched in before, the depths of your soul. You make a soul connection with God/Jesus/Father Creator. What He has to offer you is eternal life with Him.

It is well worth all you have to go through in your daily life, the trials , the testings, the heartache, the loss, the pain, the persecutions, the bullying, the attacks, the tribulations. Whatever you have to got through stay true to God/Jesus/Father Creator. If you stay true to Him, one day soon, all these trails and more will be wiped away from your memory. You will remember no more of this earth or life upon it. You will become new, once again, in Him. He will take you home for eternity, never to be separated again from Him. You will have no more pain, no more heartache, no suffering. The morning of your joy will have come.

Now, if on the other hand, you choose to deny the Lord and serve the devil you can also see a transformation. The transformation shows both in your inward and outer countenance. Your soul lives in darkness and cannot be satisfied. It continually hungers, seeking to be sated, but it is never truly satisfied. It thirsts for something you cannot find the answer to with the devil.

The devil will hold you captive, he will enslave you. The devil will promise you many things but the only promise that he truly keeps is the one that takes you to hell. He will give you pleasure for a season or more but at some point that pleasure reduces. You find yourself in search of something else to fill the spot your soul needs feeling., the eternal abyss within you that cannot be truly filled by the devil or anything he offers you. You will always be lacking and needing, seeking to find  a way to fill the hole within your soul. Your internal being, your soul, quakes in it's search, it's thirst, to find that which can make it stop aching, stop quaking, stop yearning. It searches for something to take the hunger away. The devil gives you just enough to entice you further down the road on a journey that will keep you going straight into the pits of hell. He feeds you, entices you, lures you, woos you, but all he does leaves you lacking at some point along the way. So you start your search anew to feel the void within you.  If you stay on this road with the devil he will court you in to hell.

The Lord is watching and waiting for you. He will forgive you and help you if you ask. You have to seek Him. If you truly want Him, if you truly seek Him, His forgiveness, He will freely give it. His arms are open wide. He is what you have been searching for. He is the only One, the only Thing, that can truly fill the abyss, the void within your soul and heart. He can give you what you have been searching for, because it is He for whom you have searched. He is the only One who can wipe you clean and make you new. His Word is Truth. He is Life.

Turn to God/Jesus/Father Creator. Ask His forgiveness, accept it. Turn away from your sin and the wiles of the devil. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You have the power within you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to resist the devil, if you are truly the Lord's child.

When I think of what it means to be the Lord's child or to serve the devil, for me it is not a hard decision to make. On one hand you have the Lord Jesus Christ/God/Father Creator, on the other their is the devil. On one hand you have heaven, on the other you have hell. On one hand you have eternal joy,on the other hand you have eternal pain and suffering. My choice is to serve the Lord throughout eternity as I do not want to be eternally separated from God/Jesus/Father Creator. Each one of us has to make that choice, daily. Where will you spend eternity? Will it be with the Lord serving Him in glory, or will it be in the great lake of fire, eternally suffering and eternally separated from God? The choice is yours and yours alone to make. Choose wisely because your soul depends upon it.

Are You Waiting And Watching

Wow, Spring has arrived in Kentucky. The season is passing so swiftly. I have so many flowers blooming right now that do not normally bloom until May through August. My Yucca plants are starting to bloom and that is unusual as they do not normally bloom until August. I have noticed several things that are not occurring in the season or months they normally occur in.

I do believe that the Lord is trying to tell us people something, but how many will take heed, how many will take note of what He is trying to tell us and show us. How many will be waiting and watching for the Lord's return to this earth. He tells us in His Word, the Holy Bible to watch and wait. He tells us of the signs of things to come. He tells us when the time is nigh. Yet we will not know the exact time as only God knows of this. He did give us the signs to watch for and if anyone is unprepared when He returns it is woe unto that person. Are you waiting and watching?

Matthew 24 of the King James Bible tells of the signs the Lord forewarned us of. It also tells us that we shall not know the time of His return but that we should be waiting and watching. There is a song that Kitty Wells sang that echoes the warning that the Lord gave us in Matthew 24. The song is entitled Matthew 24 for it reflects the message of Matthew 24 from the Holy Bible, God's written Word.

Here are the lyrics:

Matthew 24

Verse 1:
I believe the time is coming for the Lord to come again
I believe the end is nearing every day
I believe the dear old Bible from beginning to the end
Just compare today with Matthew Twenty-Four

Chorus:
We are living surely living in the days he speaks about
All of these we now are having every day
Let's be ready for his coming let us meet him with a shout
For he tells us in his word to watch and pray

Verse 2:
While upon the Mount of Olives his disciples came to him
Saying tell us when these things are going to be
Jesus answered be ye watching let everyone be free from sin
And take heed no man shall ever you deceive

Repeat Chorus

Verse 3:
Many wars shall come upon us, when the end of time is near
Many earthquakes will be numerous in these days
All these days we now are having and in Matthew it appears
We should live our lives for Him and sing His praise

If you are not ready to spend eternity with the Lord please get prepared. God is waiting with open arms for you. Jesus will forgive you if you will humbly ask Him. Turn from your sin and do not return to it. Live your life for Jesus Christ after all He gave His life for you. He does not want you to go to hell and in the end be cast into the lake of fire where the worm dieth not, where the fire is not quenched, where you shall be eternally damned, and where you will be eternally separated from God and all those who are His. I Love you and care about your soul just as the Lord Jesus Loves and cares about your soul. Don't turn Him away come to Jesus today. If He calls you come to Him and repent humbly, accept His forgiveness, turn from your sin, and do not take up your sin again. He will wash away your sins if you will accept Him and let Him. I may not personally know you but I Love you with the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ and I want us to be together in Heaven.

Lyrics

Verse 1:

You may have a fancy car,
A brand new house that shines by far.
You may live to be a hundred years old.
But if you have not been saved it all ends with the grave.
But I want us to be together in Heaven.

Chorus:

I want us to be together in Heaven.
I want to walk down the streets of pure gold.
I want to run through the fields of green clover.
See the mansions, smell the flowers,
Hear them singing its all ours.
See the river gently flowing,
Feel the gentle breezes blowing.
I want us to be together in Heaven.

Verse 2:

You may be a millionaire,
Wearing clothes beyond compare.
You may have the best that money can buy.
But if the Blood is not applied,
Then in hell you'll lift your eyes.

Will we be together in Heaven?

Are You Ready

On my mind right now is praying and asking others to pray for the storm that caused so much damage to areas in Louisiana from high winds. Please keep these people in your prayers. The Lord knows of it all.

Another beautiful day that the Lord has blest us with. His blessings are wonderful. He directs our paths if we but heed His voice and promptings ans if we but follow His lead. It is when we stray from the path that He has set us upon that we do err. Thankfully He is a forgiving God and if we humbly ask the Lord Jesus will forgive us. We need to be doing the work He has set forth for us and not going about our own agenda.

One may ask how do I know that I am on my own path and not on the one the Lord wants me to be on? When we are doing the Lord's work and on the path He has set us upon we will have His peace within us. Where the Lord guides the Lord provides. He tells us to not worry about what we need for He knows exactly what we need and if we abide in Him and His Word abides in us we shall ask and it shall be done unto us. He will provide the needs we have of Him if we but do His will and not our own.

There are those who think them self to be wise but their own words give them away. They profess to be something they are not. If one reads what they write long enough and listens to what a person says, if they are around a person very long, one will be able to know that the person or people boast of their own self and do not give God the praise, the honor and glory due Him. We are nothing and we can do nothing of ourselves. Without God/Jesus/ Father Creator we are lost and have nothing. We all sin and the Lord tells us this and says one who professes to not sin is deceiving oneself and they are making God a liar and His Word is not in us.

Always be mindful of what you say and do. Someone is always watching you. God/Jesus is definitely watching you but their are others who will bear witness to the Lord of what you do and who you profess to be, and their record will be truth and you will not be able to deny it before the Lord. Others see what you do in their sight and God sees both what you do in others sight and say that they hear, but God also sees what you do behind the closed doors and in the dark of the night. The things you think you are doing in secret God knows of and He is aware of it all. You are not hiding from Him, for no one can hide from Him. He sees all, He hears all, He knows all. When your time comes to face the Lord in judgement the things He will reveal of you, the things you have said and done in public and in secret He knows it all, He will reveal it all. Can you truthfully say that you will be in glory with Him or will He say unto you,"I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

I John 1:5-10
5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

John 15:7-8
7) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Matthew 7:15-27
Revelation 20:1-1

Romans 1:20-22
20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Warriors For Christ Student Internships

This summer Warriors for Christ would like to invite college students to work with us.

Warriors for Christ is a Native American Discipleship ministry located in Port Townsend, WA. The vision of Warriors for Christ is to provide culturally sensitive, effective discipleship materials, and training for Native Americans.

It would be helpful if the student is able to work with computers, Facebook, the WFC website, and construction projects. We will, in turn, offer Discipleship through Warriors for Christ's Walking the New Path. It will be a time to focus on the Lord and His Word. Through this experience they will be equipped and encouraged to accept the Lord's calling on their life.

We are located on Puget Sound, just outside the historic seaport of Port Townsend. There will be plenty of time for recreation too which could include: camping, sightseeing, sailing, hiking. See the following link for more information. http://www.ptguide.com/

Warriors for Christ can provide food and lodging; stay with us for a week to a month this summer.

Spring, Renewal, Rebirth

It is Spring. The season that the land comes back to wakefulness after a long Winter's sleep. The time when there is a crispness to the air with a hint of freshness carried upon the breezes. The Lord's creations are budding forth with new life, refreshed, renewed. Buds start to appear and soon open. Leaves start to unfurl from the tight fist they were curled into as they reach towards the sky to expand their new growth toward Heaven. The flowers raise their blooming heads gracefully towards the vast expanse of the firmament above them as if in salute to their Maker, Father Creator, above.

Spring is the time of renewal and rebirth for most of God's creations. Yet their are some that do not come to life again in this season of renewal and rebirth. The harsh elements of the Winter and the droughts have caused them to not be revived. The elements and possibly age have caused some to die and not be renewed, refreshed with this Spring season. Sometimes we do not know what has caused the plant/tree to not prosper but instead to die. Some of these plants/trees we know intimately as we have helped them along or watched them in their various stages of growth while others we know merely from passing by them often. When we look upon this we are sad at this, even the passing of a plant/tree, as it is the passing away of a life that God has created.

So too, in our daily lives, we are faced with the passing of someone dear to us or someone that we know or have known in our lifetime. We do not always know why they are taken away or when they will be taken away, but we do know that at some point in time each one of us will lose someone that we care deeply about or that we know just in passing. It is a fact. Sometimes we are warned through a sickness or illness that our loved one, those we know and care about, will be leaving us soon. At other times it comes suddenly in the form of a car accident, another type of accident, a heart attack or some other surprise ending that we never could have foreseen coming.

The thing is that why our loved ones, friends, acquaintances, flowers, trees, plants, animals are with us, we should strive to tend to them in the best ways that we can. We should show them love and tend to their needs as God has instructed us to do. Father Creator/God/Jesus Christ has entrusted not only the plants and animals into our care but He has entrusted the people in our daily lives into our care as well. Tend all with love and care.

You know how when you plant a seed, you water it and nurture it. You weed it and feed it with fertilize and cultivate the soil around it so the air will get to the roots and so the soil does not compact around the roots. So to you tend to your family and those around you. From the time a child is within it's mother's womb at the point of conception that baby is being cared for, tended to, by the mother. As it grows within her she loves babe and speaks to the baby, she nourishes it with her own body. Then it is born and the nourishment and nurturing continues int he feeding, washing , clothing, teaching and loving of that child. It grows/flourishes under a loving hand. The same goes for anyone that God has entrusted into our care and lives. We are supposed to tend, nourish, nurture, love and care for them. When we do this, as the Lord asks us to do, we watch them grow and our love for them should grow along with them. They will prosper and grow if the circumstances are right for them.

Sometimes though, even with all our love, care and tending, they fail to flourish and grow. Or they may grow and at the end of a long life they leave us, or they may leave us somewhere along our life's way. Just as the plants, flowers, trees, and animals we love and care for sometimes do not flourish and they die. Or they live for sometime then die or they live a long life and then die. Death is a part of living. We all should know this. We, our self, will one day face death.

We need to be prepared to face death and be in the Lord and His child, forgiven of our sins, born again or we will be eternally separated from God/Jesus/Father Creator. Part of loving and nurturing someone is teaching them of the Lord and letting them know about Him, of his Love and message of repentance and forgiveness. If you truly love someone you will teach them of God/Jesus, His Way and Word. Bring them up in nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6) A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ephesians 6:1-4
1) Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2) Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
3) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4) And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

I was led, of the Lord, to share this with you all. He blesses us in so many ways and I am thankful to Him for all the blessings, the trials and testings. Please share the Lord with those you love and with those you meet each day. The Lord was not afraid to speak to others that He met along the way and we are to do as He did, for He instructs us to do the same as He did in sharing Him and His Word with others.

Ephesians 6:1-18

Two Choices, Two Paths

Two choices, that is what it comes down to when your life, on this earth, is ended. Heaven or hell. It does not matter whether, in this life you lived upon the earth, if you were a famous actor, a singer, a reporter, a doctor, a lawyer, a preacher, an ordinary person ( just as I am and so many others are), or who or what your profession in this life is or was. What matters is how you lived the life that God allowed you to live. Was it in His service or did you serve self and others for your own benefit? Did you do things for your own glory or did you do things for God's glory?

The talents/gifts each one of us has was given to us by God. We too often take those talent/gifts for granted or think that we , our self, are something special, above other people, because we have a gift/talent that others do not have. Yes, we do work to fine tune/hone the talents/gifts that we have but God is the one who gave us that gift/talent and put the desire for us to use that gift and talent to the best of our ability within us. We are supposed to use any gift/talent that we have for God's glory not for our own. All we do we are supposed to do for God's glory. If it were not for God/Father Creator/ Jesus Christ then you would not have breath to breathe so you would not be able to use the gift/talent, that God/Jesus/Father Creator blest you with, if it were not for God. Do not say I did this I am a great man/woman. Say instead God allowed me to be an actor, a singer, a doctor, a lawyer, a preacher and so on and I praise Him and give Him the glory. It is not us who deserves the praise, the honor, and glory. It is God who deserves the praise, the honor, and glory. Never take for granted what God has blest you with for in the blink of an eye it could all be taken away from us.

Anything we do, we need to praise God in it and for it. Give Him the glory. The next time you start to say," see what I did", stop and think. It is not " I" who did this but it is God who gave me the ability to do this and is allowing me to do this that deserves the praise, the honor, and the glory. We are to use our talents/ gifts for Him and in His service, not for self and self service. Did you know that our deeds will be tried in the fire to see if they will stand the test? Did you do what you did for God or for self? Now you may say to yourself I did this for God but it truth did you actually do it for self because you like to hear people praise you and say to you, " Wow that was such a great thing you did. You were awesome in doing that. That was so nice." Do you, when someone says this to you, say," thank you I have worked so hard to be able to do this or thank you I did this because I am a Christian, thank you I did this because I felt it was the right thing, the best thing to do." Instead of putting the emphasis on I, we should be putting the emphasis on God/Jesus/Father Creator. Next time when someone gives you a compliment or says something about a good deed you did give God the glory and honor due Him, do not give that honor and glory to self instead. You can always see that God has given you the opportunity to serve Him and share Him in all you do if you truly are His child. Say instead next time " Thank You, I give God the praise for blessing me to be able to help", " I give God the praise for He has blest me with this talent/gift to use to bring Him honor and glory and it is He, not I, Who deserves the praise, the honor, and the glory for without Him I would be nothing and I am as nothing."

Use that gift/talent to bring God the praise, the honor, and the glory, for we are supposed to use our gift/talents for Him and in His service not for self gain or self glory. That is where we fall into the devil's trap, when we start to think of our self as someone big, self importance. We are nothing without God/Jesus/Father creator. This is what hurts me to my soul and heart is that so many , every day they live, think of them self as someone big, self important and do not take the time to honor God in their day or to thank Him for all He has blest them with. So many go on in their lives not caring for others or for God, thinking they, them self, are in control and they can use that gift/talent to serve self and self glory. How much time did you give God today? Anything you give more time to than God is ruling your life.

Don't you realize that when your life ends upon this earth there will only be two alternatives? Heaven or hell. Each one of us every day are faced with choosing Heaven or hell. It is just that some do not see this, for their eyes have been blinded, their ears have been shut up, and their hearts have become hardened for they serve self and not God. What are your earthly treasures, your gold, your silver, your awards, your titles, your self works going to get you in the end? Nothing for they will all fade away, they will rust, rot, and decay. They will not stand the test of God. They will be destroyed in the fire when our deeds are tried by fire, for they were done for self glory not for God's glory. Do not seek your praises among mankind. As it says in His written Word, the Holy Bible, lay up your treasures in Heaven. Choose to praise and honor God not self for when your life end comes, the treasures upon this earth will stand as naught, only the treasures you have laid up in Heaven and for the glory of God will stand and remain. I encourage you to examine your life and see what treasures you have truly laid up. Do you have treasures laid up in heaven or are your treasures of the earthly sort? When it is all said and done , in this life, did you truly serve God/Jesus/Father Creator or did you serve self for your own glory and honor? It is not too late to turn your life around and serve God and use your talents/gifts to bring God/Jesus/Father Creator the praise, the honor and the glory that are due Him.

So will your works stand the test of God? Will they make it through the fire refined and showing his reflection? Or will your deeds reflects elf and destruction? Remember that God/ Jesus/Father Creator knows each one of our hearts and He knows who we truly serve, whether it is He whom we serve or whether we serve self. The choice is yours to make every moment of every day. Which of the two choices do you daily choose? Which of the two paths do you daily walk down? Ponder these questions and pray for God to guide you on your way. Remember He is always with you just waiting for you. He is always watching and He knows our hearts and whom we truly serve. Two choices. Two paths. Which one have you chosen?

Matthew 6:19-24

19)Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal

21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

God Answers Prayers

Praising the Lord for letting my daughter's cat, Sephiroth be okay. Someone ran over him yesterday while I was looking out the window. I saw the whole thing and the person just sped off when I ran out the door waving them down. I even ran after them down the road , they braked then they went on. I know they saw me. I called the police and reported it. We located Seph under our outbuilding and I took him to the vet. The kiddo's and I prayed on the way to the vet that Seph would be okay. Thankfully all Seph got was a scraped hind leg with two gouge marks on it. He is in the house and we have him on antibiotics for a week.

God cares for His creations, all of them. Remember what it says in the Bible about God even notes when the sparrow falls. For those of you who intentionally harm animals think twice before you do it cause God is watching and He takes note of what you are doing to His creatures. Accidents happen but when you speed away knowing you ran over an animal that is someone's pet that is not right, especially when that person saw it happen and you know they were trying to flag you down. That animal is part of someone's family, not just a pet, not just an animal, but a family member. I forgive you ( I hope you did not mean to run over Sephiroth, even though you sped up and swerved towards him, I forgive you). If you run over someone's pet have the decency to stop and speak with them and let them know you did not mean to run over their pet, offer your apology, offer to pay the vet bill, that is the least you could do instead of speeding away as if the pet was nothing.

My daughter is still hurting because of this happening. She may be 20 but she knows the hurt that people can cause to others. I have to use this as a lesson in forgiveness to her and her younger brother who is 12. The Lord tells us that if we do not forgive others than He will not forgive us. Sometimes it is hard to forgive when you are the recipient of the hurt but you can forgive and release the hurt to God/Jesus Christ/ Father Creator. He knows your pain and your heartache and He can bear it more than you or I can. So I encourage each one that has been hurt, whether intentionally or unintentionally, by another to forgive and to give it over to the Lord. You'll feel better in the long run for when you hold onto hurts, unforgiveness, and grudges you are hurting yourself as you are allowing yourself to be held captive by your emotions and by the person who has caused you to have these feelings.

You have the power, through Jesus Christ, to be free from all of that. Let go and let God be in control of it all, as He truly is the One who is in control of it all. Sometimes things happen to see how we will react to that situation. We are all daily tested and being refined into whom God wants us to be as silver is refined in the furnace.

Follow The Lord

It has been some time since I have been led to post on my blog. I apologize for not posting sooner. A lot has been going on and I have been letting other things take precedence over my blog posting. But I felt led to post this wee AM hours of the morning so here I am posting.

It rained earlier and was about 45 degrees. Right now it is freezing rain and sleet that is falling as the temperatures have dropped into the lower 30's degrees. it is supposed to turn to snow. This is Kentucky, where in the course of a days span the weather can change so suddenly it will run from one condition of the weather end to the other in extremes. The old saying is that if you do not like the weather in Kentucky hang around and it will change in a few minutes. During my lifetime in Kentucky I have noticed this a lot and it is true. Our weather changes quickly and abruptly. In part it is due to where Kentucky is geographically located. It is part South, part North, Part East, and part West. All the different climates seem to meet here in Kentucky.

I have always been fascinated by how the Lord works in such mysterious ways that the weather He makes to change from one moment being sunny and warm and then a few hours later the temperatures drop and it sleets and snows. I am thankful that God is in control of the weather and all things. He knows what He is doing and there is a purpose in everything He does and says. I am thankful for this. we may not always see the purpose that the Lord has in what He does, says, or makes to be, but it is not for us to know unless He chooses to reveal it unto us.

All things happen in this life, we live, for a reason. As it says in the holy Bible, God's Word, there is a season for everything. Everything under the sun there is a purpose for and a season for.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1)
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6) A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

The Lord teaches us in and through His Word and Holy Spirit. There is much wisdom to earn and live by within the pages of the Holy Bible. The problem is that not many people are wise enough to truly grasp, retain, hold dear to one's heart and soul, and live by what the Bible tells us. We could all do with a little more of adhering to what the Lord instructs us to do and to live how He instructs us to live within the pages of His Word, the Holy Bible.

II Timothy 3:14-17
14)
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

I will leave you with these words, follow that which is good, that which is pure, and that which is true. Follow God/ Jesus Christ/ Father Creator. He will never lead you astray.

Getting Too Comfortable

It has been a beautiful day today. The Lord blest us with a wonderful service this morning. The Church I attend is starting a Revival tomorrow night and the kiddo's and I are so looking forward to this. The whole Church is excited. We have been praying for a Revival for quite some time and the service this morning just let us know that it is time to start a revival in the community. I am praying for people to attend so the Word of the Lord can go out to them and bring them in to repentance and to renew and refresh/revive those that need it. God is awesome.

I went on a cleaning frenzy yesterday. I know the kiddo's will be surprised when they get back from the visit they had with their Dad this weekend. They told me I needed to rest and take a break while they were gone but I got more hyper than usual and one thing led to another. The good thing is that the house is nice and clean.

It was one of those times when you see your home as someone else would see it. We live in our home everyday so we get comfortable with how it becomes over time, the clutter, the dust, and so on. Sometimes it is a good thing to stop, step back and take a look at it, to see it with new eyes, and see what needs to be done to improve it.

This is sort of like our walk with God. Sometimes we need to stop and examine our self and see just where we are lacking in serving the Lord. Sometimes we get too comfortable in where we are, so we don't try to do anymore than we are already doing for the Lord. That is a fault within us. The Lord gave His all for us, so we should give our all for the Lord. If God calls us to do something in His service then we should do it, even if it brings us out of our comfort zone. We may not always want to do what the Lord leads us to do but we should, for a certainty, do what He is bidding us to do. We are in His service. We are His children. He will not ask more of us than we can do. If He leads us to it, He will provide the means to get us through it.

I thank God for being. Every breath that we breathe we should be praising the Lord for it. For it is He Who gives us the breath we breathe. If it were not for Him we would be nothing and we would have no hope. But with, in, through, and of Him we have hope. That hope is Jesus Christ. I thank God for all. God is awesome!!!

My Daughter's Blog

I wanted to post the link to my daughter, Elizabeth's, blog. Todays blog entry is amusing yet a little satirical as it is easy to see where the future could lead us to as far as robotics and technology goes. I found it a bit profound that my daughter, even though she meant her post in a non-serious manner, has some very interesting ways of looking at things. The link to her blog post is below. I hope you all enjoy reading it.

I am proud of my daughter. God has blest me in and with my children and I thank God for them.
Have an awesome rest of the week in the Lord.

Blessings,
Nancy

Tabitha Is Coming Home

I wanted to let all know, so that we can praise the Lord together, that Tabitha has been located and is on her way home. I want to extend a personal thank you to everyone who has offered up prayers concerning this issue and for all the tips that were received. Our God is awesome. He is to be praised. We must offer up our voices, our hearts, and our souls in acknowledgment and rejoicing in the Lord. He knows what is best and He is God. He is in control.

Please continue to keep us all in your prayers as we will be faced with trials and tribulations. Keep Tabitha in your prayers for her to repent and ask the Lord into her life as Saviour and Redeemer. With God all things are possible. We must have faith and believe for and in the Lord. What He says He will do, He will do.

Thanks, again, to everyone for their prayers and tips. I thank God for each one of you. You are blessings to my family and I. Praise the Lord. All praise, honor, and glory are due God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
