Time Is Precious

Time is too short and too precious to be wasted upon things that hinder us in our walk with the Lord. Why spend time being angry about something you can't change ? Just move on and let it go. God will take care of it. God knows of everything and anything that takes your time, your mind and your heart off of him is wrong. So let go of any negative thing , whether it is anger, wrong that has been done you, don't dwell on it because God has greater things planned.

We had such an awesome Church service this morning at the Church where my parents attend. The message was a question, "What does being saved mean to you ?" My answer is " everything ". Being saved from my sins means that one day soon I will be Home with Jesus and I am looking forward to that. Jesus shed His precious Life's Blood for each of us. That is awesome.

What would your answer be to that question " What does being saved mean to you ?", if it were asked of you ? I know what my answer is and I have shared that with you. Think about this question and truly take it to heart and see what your answer is.

Father God is Love divine. Yes He chastises us if we stray but it is because He cares for us. He is daily preparing each of us, that are His children, to one day make that final journey Home. To me there is nothing worth wasting the precious time that God has given us to serve and worship Him and to teach others of Him, there is nothing worth wasting that precious time upon. Things of this world aren't worth wasting precious time on. Disappointments, anger, strife, sin , none of these are worth wasting the precious time God has given us to serve Him upon . Use the time God has given you wisely in service to Him and not in service to man and the world.

Just , for a moment, imagine that you knew you would die tomorrow. How would you change the way you spend your time ? Would you turn and go to the world ? Would you go out and party, drink , eat, be merry in, of, and with the world ? Would you go spend lots of money on things of the world, buy wine, women or men, and fulfill the lust of the flesh? Or, would you use it wisely to serve God and help those you care about ? Would you spend the time with those you should and let them know you care ? Would you make a difference for God and spread His message of love and redemption in the time you had left? Would you let nothing or no one stand in the way of doing what God says is the right thing to do ? Would you turn away from the world and turn to God knowing you would die tomorrow ?

My sister in law wrote a song a long time ago. God gave it to her and it is Called " If Jesus Came Tomorrow What Would You Do Then ? ". It goes on to say would you beg Him for forgiveness or reach out and take His hand. But you know the sad thing about it all is that if Jesus did come tomorrow none of us would have another chance to change. Once He comes back in the clouds of glory we will either go to Heaven or go to Hell. There will be no more chances to change. How you have lived your life up to the time that He comes back , at the moment of His coming back, you will be judged. No more chances, you will either go to Heaven or Hell.

Sometimes God lets us know when our time is coming. He lets us know so we can serve Him to the best of our ability to make a difference for Him in the life of someone .He lets us know so we will let our light shine brightly for Him until He calls us on Home. He promised us that if we chose to serve Him , He would bless us in it all. For serving Him is reward enough because He is Almighty God and I love Him so.

Please don't waste what time you have left on this earth by serving the devil, the world and it's ways. Turn to Jesus before it's to late. Tomorrow could very well be your last day upon this earth. Spend it making a difference for God and for those you care about and for others by sharing God with them.
